The HVAC Technician is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by taking ownership and provides accurate and timely service, repair, and replacement of all types of HVAC equipment in the commercial/industrial HVAC market.    

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years successful experience in HVAC industry, including operations
  • EPA Universal certified
  • 50+ tons RTU experience with no supervision
  • MUST have previous experience working on multiple buildings at once
  • MUST be able to provide service alone

The Chiller Technician is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by taking ownership and provides accurate and timely service, repair, and replacement of all types of HVAC equipment in the commercial/industrial HVAC market.

 Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with performing PM’s, annuals, and service of centrifugal chillers.
  • Certificates from manufacturer training
  • Capable of performing 10-year tear downs on centrifugal chillers preferred
  • Experience servicing Carrier, Trane, York, and Daikin centrifugal chillers preferred
  • Accurately troubleshoot and diagnoses problems with Cooling tower and related HVAC equipment to determine the best repair and replacement strategy.

The Sheet Metal Installer is responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of sheet metal components for HVAC and mechanical systems. This role ensures that all installations align with APS’s mission, vision, and values while meeting industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

 Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years successful experience in HVAC industry, including operations.
  • Install, assemble, and secure sheet metal components for HVAC systems, ductwork, and mechanical projects according to project blueprints and specifications.
  • Fit and fasten sheet metal sections using welding, riveting, bolting, or other fastening techniques.
  • Seal duct joints and connections to prevent air leakage and ensure system efficiency.
  • Perform soft soldering, brazing, and welding as needed to provide a quality installation.

The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer service.

 Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Plumbing industry.
  • Valid Journeyman Plumbing License
  • Back-flow certification preferred
  • Perform detailed diagnostics to identify plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and system malfunctions.
  • Repair, replace, and install plumbing fixtures, pipes, and appliances while ensuring compliance with local and state codes.

The Refrigeration Service Technician is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by taking ownership and provides accurate and timely service, repair, and replacement of all types of HVAC/ refrigeration equipment in the commercial/industrial HVAC market

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years successful experience in HVAC industry, including operations.
  • Vocational/Technical school preferred.
  • Experience with Walk in coolers, reach in coolers, and light refrigeration racks, Ice machine experience a plus
  • Accurately diagnoses problems with HVAC equipment and determines best repair, replacement strategy.
  • Works effectively alone and with team to complete repairs timely and safely with no errors or defects.

The Cooling Tower Technician is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by taking ownership and providing accurate and timely service, repair, and replacement of all types of cooling tower and related equipment in the commercial/industrial HVAC market.

 Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years successful experience in maintaining, servicing, repairing, and installing cooling towers and related equipment
  • Must be able to perform service alone.
  • Must have experience working on multiple buildings
  • Mechanically inclined

The Automation Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Building Automation Systems (BAS) to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

 Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Automation and HVAC industry
  • Certified and proficient in various BAS systems.
  • Tridium certified
  • Install building automation systems, including HVAC controls, lighting controls, and security systems, ensuring proper integration with building infrastructure.
  • Commission new automation systems, calibrating and configuring them for optimal functionality and efficiency

This position’s primary function is ensuring all equipment is on hand and ready for uses. Warehouse is orderly and clean. Fleet is in good repair and vendors are selected that provide quality service at a reasonable price. Warranty items are tagged, managed and returned for credit. Old equipment is scraped and taken to yard for best value.

 Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-year successful experience in administrative duties.
  • Must have a high expectation for customer service.
  • Can pass an MVR
  • Forklift Certified
  • Coordinate with vendors by assisting in scheduling repairs, sourcing vendors, helping vendors prepare for repairs.

The Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction by instilling APS company Mission, Vision, and Core Values. Must create and maintain the daily schedule for Service Technicians to ensure timely service to customers.

 Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ successful administrative experience in HVAC or Plumbing Industry.
  • Accurately and timely assigns Service Technician teams to jobs/projects each day based per contract, T&M, or bid work.
  • Support technicians in the field and sales team.
  • Review Technician service work orders and move to the appropriate work queue.
  • Communicate at a high level with customers on ETA, follow-ups, and getting accurate info.

The Service Electrician is responsible for performing electrical service, repair, and installation tasks for commercial and industrial customers. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, including experience in electrical troubleshooting, conduit bending, motor and VFD wiring, electrical panel replacements, switchgear maintenance, disconnect replacements, circuit additions, etc.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Journeyman
  • Valid Journeyman Plumbing License
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair for a wide range of commercial and industrial customers.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including panels, switchgear, disconnects, VFDs, and motor controls

Ensure that all electrical work is performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with local codes and company standards.
